cracking new cd
2 of 2 found this helpful it's been a bit of a wait but well worth it, 999 have produced an lp that really lives alongside 999 and seperates and biggest prize in sport.
within you will find a host of great tracks that are already live favourites, check out Bomb You, System, gimme the world and the shinning Last Breath, although 999 are one of the first and still lasting Punk bands, like the Stranglers they have the ability to write punk rock songs with great melody and sweet guitar riffs and lyrics that have meaning.
an ability that to many punk bands forget and this is the reason why we still buy 999 records and go to see them live.

A gem
2 of 2 found this helpful Although this is 999 its a very diffrent punk Lp, what needs to be said is that 3 tracks stand out as truly great songs by anyones yardstick, the opener is Hallelujah a belter of a track, then running into Black Sunshine but it's the third cut that makes this Lp worthy of any collection, 20 years a track of brilliance and makes Dancing in the wrong shoes a must to get.
