DJ Sammy's Boys of Summer Remixes CD is a great buy!
I really love this cd. It is a great set of mixes from a remake of Don Henley's 80's song Boys of Summer.
If you are like me, you love 80's flashbacks & this one's great because it has a dance mix twist.
DJ Sammy is a European remixer with a real flair for melodic progressive house / trance tracks.
This song was a hit when it came out in 2002, but not an overplayed one. The vocals are by Loona.
There are 6 mixes on the cd I got. Wikipedia says there is a version available with 9 on the single. Would love to get my hands on that one!
My favorite mixes from the CD are the Humate Mix & the Appalachian Fall Mix. The latter starts out with a nice, dreamy intro before the chorus kicks in. Yummy melodic trance!
Both have a great trance flair with synthesizer melodies wrapping around the vocals.
Great summer time song. Even though it is from 2002, 9 years later, it is still a viable tune. I would have to say it could be mixed into any dj set and still feel current.

Excellent CD! Great buy! Love the mixes!
I was kind of unsure about getting this CD, but being the techno music junkie that I am, I couldn't resist.
Sinead O'Conner on amazing vocals. And the music is really killer as well.
There are quite a few great mixes on this cd, 8 in total.
My personal favorite is the Paul Van Dyk Mix

Shampoo Highly Recommended!
2 of 2 found this helpful I absolutely adore Redken products. I even for a time went to the Redken Salon in NYC to get my hair done for free. This shampoo is really great. It leaves the hair feeling so soft and smooth. Highly recommend this shampoo to anyone dealing with frizz or if you just want nice hair. Please don't buy up all the products on Ebay though. Leave some left for me!
