If you like musicals you will love this!
It's a great filming of the passionate 'musical'. Cliff is a great serious actor and cries well, even for someone who is not a Cliff fan.
Unfortunately it was recorded in 1990s so, at first, it did appear to be a copy, no leaflet/booklet inside and the disc felt funny but we watched and were pleased. No hiccups in playing or trouble with sound. I went to see Heathcliff live and it was brilliant then but this dvd has brought all the memories back. My husband wasn't really keen to watch, despite being a Les Mis fan, but he was gripped and can't stop the songs in his head.
