These collets and collet holder are simply excellent; very well made and finished. The collets suit my Union Graduate wood turning lathe perfectly allowing a tenon to be turned for mounting then the tenon fits snugly into the chosen collet and once tightened the work is securely held and running concentrically to its axis dead true; it couldn't be better. These collets will last me a lifetime with care.
The collets don't come with a drawbar but then different lathes need different lengths of drawbar so I made my own drawbar as seen in the picture below. The piece being turned is gripped so securely and running so true even very thin finials can easily be turned without a big chuck being in the way.
The case they are supplied in keeps the collets safe and I'm impressed by the sliding catches on the case.
I'm delighted with the collets and highly recommend them.

Hi,
My wife and I visited a local store taking along roller blind details obtained from their website together with sizes for four blinds plus cash to pay for them; Online the made to measure blinds we had chosen would have cost us around £280; the store is no longer a store it now being their office and we were advised to return home and order online even though we were cash paying customers with the blind sizes?
Back home we decided to browse eBay and eventually bought the four blinds from here; the blinds were bought oversize to allow trimming to size which was time consuming but easy and the aluminium tubes the blinds are mounted upon are much better than previous roller blinds on their cardboard tubes.
These blinds are indeed blackout blinds of good quality; the pattern chosen matches the room perfectly; care was taken to get the measurements exact and the cutting instructions supplied were simple to follow; the blinds hang nicely and operate smoothly.
The bottom line for these four blinds was an amazing £112.46 delivered; what a huge saving over buying made to measure and so convenient too. No more store bought roller blinds for us in future we now know where to come for blinds in future. Highly recommended by us.
