Cary Grant is his funny and charming self so he makes a wonderful feel good
Although Cary Grant had want to get of doing this film as he had previously had an affair with Sophie Loren when he got her the job then they split up as she was not interested in a long term attachment. The film is lovely the children are very good especially the youngest child Robert. A divorced and now widowed father who is estranged from his children decides to become a proper father but each child has their own issues and when Sophie Loren arrives she pulls the family together and they full in love. This is all set ion a dilapidated houseboat that after a series of problems they end up living on. Cary is humorous and as charming as ever. Cary Grant at his best this is a lovely feel good film and will not disappoint. My only negative is that I don't think Sophie Loren is a great actress and the song she sings gets into your head and is rather irritating. However Cary makes this film wonderful.

Awesome film a true Hollywood Classic that has stood the hands of time.
0 of 1 found this helpful Love Cary Grant and Grace Kelly is wonderful in this film I really enjoy the chemistry they have and the scenery of Monte Carlo is stunning. Hitchcock at his most light hearted but with plot twists. I just love this film
