Decent cheap press for medium duty standard tasks.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought the press as It was the cheapest on E-bay. I fully expected to have to modify the frame to do the job I wanted it for, as it happens I didn't need to. However I did push it to the very top end of its capabilities.
My requirement for the press was to push some steel bushes from aluminium suspension components on a Foden lorry. I made myself a C section plate with a hole in it for the redundant pin & bush to push through. A bit of heat on the housing as the pressure was applied made easy work of the bush removal.
Whilst the housing was warm I pressed in the new bush which had been chilling in the freezer.
For occasional use, car front wheel bearings, bushings, pulleys, removing gears etc its ideal. Mine will get modified over the years and the jack uprated when this one fails, but its decent for what it is.

Barely a Glimmer
I bought these lights on the strength of the photographs in the advert.
Unfortunately when fitted they are incredibly dull and barely omit any light. I have checked my transformers and they are achieving a healthy 12.4 Volts and I have alternated the un-colour coded wiring supplied on the lights but to no avail.
I have now linked 3 together to light an area about 600mm long, but I will be changing them for a different light.
Ultimately they are a solid well made back light, but not a light that can be used to light an area or work in a display cabinet.

Good kit
This is a really good kit for the money.
The box is strong and keeps everything together. I have used this kit on Ford Transits with left and right hand thread on the calipers and it makes the job easy.
Keep the thread well lubricated and it will last years.
