Well made I belive they are chrome plated stainless steel
I bought them and cut them to size for another Weber Grille . They only offer an epoxy coated cast iron grill that corrodes and rusts in a short period of time ! You end up getting chunks of rust in your food from the cast iron coated grills. So rather than buy another set of cast iron grills, I bought these, cut them welded up the corners and installed them on my grille. Now my grille is up to speed with nice stainless steel grills that won't rust and contaminate your food !

Good product if you have a fireplace insert with a glass door.
