Great value for money Matte Box
This is probably the only Matte Box any videomaker will need. All the important features are present and functional: Swing away, revolving filter tray adjustable hight,to mate lens to donut. Nothing is flimsy all materials used are solid and appropriate. It works just like it should. The 100/100mm filter trays work fine and click in place reassuringly. For the price it is a very good deal indeed.
Refinements like push button swingaway functions and all aluminium levers and adjusters may be present in more luxurious versions but they seem to quadruple the price at the very least. This gets you into the ball park and up and running. I have added a universal flexible donut and a small rig rail extender to drop the 4inch carbon fibre rails to line up properly with my camera. Highly recommended, though be prepared to wait a while for delivery from China.
