A remarkable fire
This fire was purchased to replace a Valor Blenheim Longlite LED fire, in which the led flame effect had stopped working. A service kit is available at about £80 plus labour. I thought the cost of repairs too high and the Valor is no longer available new, so I started looking for a replacement. This fire from Appliance Development Services seemed to tick all the boxes. It arrived within 2 days as promised, and installation was a simple direct replacement. The LED flame effect is better than the Valor, and to my pleasant surprise the fan is much quieter than our old fire. The bonus, is a remote control, for flame effect, heat settings, temperature and timer, and cost about half the price of the old Valor fire. I am not sure if service part are available but at this price it would be reasonable enough to replace.

A simple time saving solution
This is a professional product supplied with an excellent application gun and cleaning agent, the full kit. One can expands to 34 litres which is roughly 1.2 cubic feet, so you will need a lot of cans if you are insulating under the floor like me. The foam cures fast and excess is easily trimmed off after it has hardened. Do not forget to clean the gun immediately after use or it will be useless in future. Only a 10mm hole is required to use the applicator gun, much easier than lifting floorboards.
