If you only read one civil war source, this is it!
2 of 2 found this helpful I was fascinated with Shelby Foote and his perspective on the civil war when I was glued to the Ken Burns series on tv many years ago. From time to time I purchased books on Amazon for my Kindle and saw the three volume series for sale on eBay at a really good price. Each volume is around 800 pages and I have almost finished volume 1. I can’t stop reading! This is the best and while Shelby Foote is from the south, there is no southern bias here and I highly recommend The Civil War A Narrative

I use lots of pipe cleaners at my work bench. These are sturdy, absorbent and do the job very well
