Deep with fascinating insights
I would highly recommend this book to any seeker/quester on the spiritual path. Its refreshing lack of dogma and its challenging insights as well as the copious poetical and other literary references makes this a great read.

Adventure story
This is a great read filled with incident and thrill set around the time of the Third Crusade. There is a great deal of accurate historical information and without giving too much away if you love Robin Hood and are into Ivanhoe this is the book for you!

Lightweight and listenable too
Auber is an underrated composer and deserves to be better known. These are sparkling entertaining overtures and are up there with Suppe and Offenbach. Lighten up with this splendid recording!
