Soft Side Plates

I've purchased these chains before and had problems splicing them. Yesterday when I was installing a chain on a flip. I was having problem mushrooming the the side plate holes. I finally investigated the situation and realized the side bars are too soft. I've bought my last K9 chain. Sam Guillotf
