OK for a starter
The mat is made of paper and can easily rip. You need an appropriate base for it - it wouldn't be any good on carpet for example. OK for a starter but I wouldn't buy another one

Used for years
I've been buying these for our son for several years now. He's 9 but still fits this size - the jump to the next size is a bit too much for him yet. Generally I'm pleased with them however we do occasionally have some leaks so its still a good idea to protect the bed
