Ask Ed book review
In an effort to obtain as much information on marijuana I have cololected 6 books by Ed Rosenthal over the last couple of weeks. I have just obtained a green card from my doctor in order to buy, grow and or own up to 2 pounds of bud and 15 plants for my personal use in controlling the pain I suffer. I am currently on moriphene, codine and lydicane to control that pain as perscribed by my pain specialist. But I would rather go to more natural means of pain control instead of all the hard drugs i now take. All of Mr. Rosenthal's books are the best source of information today. Everything from seed selection to cultivation to making medicine from this weed. The "Ask Ed" bok i just finished reading fills any a few holes on specific areas that were unclear to me and other readers. I highly recommend this book and any others by Rosenthal to anyone wanting such information as different tools to use for harvesting, making marijuana medicines like tintures and butter or oils made from marijuana or even food recipes. Even if you don't plan to grow this weed it will dispell so many untrue myths about this weed that the governments have propigated over the years in an effort to control people and punish them for nothing more that trying to find relief for real medical problems.
I can honestly recommend highly this book and others like it to anyone wanting more information on this subject.

Rodale's Illistrated Encyclopdia of Herbs
1 of 1 found this helpful This book contains every herb or other botanical plant or tree that are used to make remedies, or cook with. This book contains everything about the plants and is well illistrated. It is not an unwheelady book being nice and compact but still 550 pages of up to date information. I plan to use one for myself and give one as a Xmas present to my daughter who loves to garden. I would recomend this book over most any other herb book I have ever seen (and that is a lot). I givve it 5 stars.
