Does exactly what it says.
May take one or two attempts at getting the water level right for the way that you like your eggs, but that's no great inconvenience at all. Once you know the level that you want it's plain sailing from there. A buzzer lets you know when the egg(s) is done. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Loving it.
