Corking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the album that launched the career of possibly the best british posh music band ever.
starting out with a song that almost never happened apparantly, "breakout" went on to become their biggest selling song ever, and became SOS's anthem.
crackingly slick with fab tracks like "fooled by a smile" "surrender" and "twilight world", to name but a few.
really a must have for album for any discerning SOS fan of any fan of real grown ups music.

Sandie Shaw - Nothing Less Than Brilliant
Of all the iconic 60's singers around, Miss Shaw has always been one of my faves, and this is a collection of some of the best 60's and (suprisingly enough) 80's songs around. When I say 80's, You have to remember or at least be made aware of the sort of comeback she did with The Smiths in the late 80's.
Every song is a gem, but I really wish they hadn't included that Cilla Black cover that she did. Anyone Who Had A heart, would have been mortified on hearing Miss Shaw sing (and I use the term lightly) this song.
There is the fabulously camp Monsieur DuPont, The title track as well as the fantastic Are You Ready To Be Heartbroken to make you smile and sing along at the same time.
And I dare you not to hum your little heart out to Puppet On A String,,,,,,,,,,,,go on I dare you not to.
WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
