Great light for everyday usage
Things I like:
- Uses a micro USB for charging (finally!), one fewer cable standard to worry about
- Supports fast charging
- Bright even at low setting
One thing I worried about this light was whether 9 modes are way too many modes, especially knowing that this light does not have a memory function where it automatically resumes to the last setting used.
Well, it turns out that day modes and night modes are completely separated. By default, pressing the power button gets you to the "night mode". It goes Low - Medium - High - SteadyPulse. You have to repeatedly press power button twice to get to the Boost mode.
With the light off, pressing the power button for 2 seconds will get you to the "day mode" that cycles through DayLightning, Triple Flash, Zoom, and Walking.
I find myself just using Low and Medium most of the time. One thing to note: you should really aim the light down, otherwise you can easily end up blinding oncoming traffic with light this bright.
