Challenging yet rewarding.
1 of 1 found this helpful This game is not for the feint of heart. If you're looking for a game to do a quick fight this is anyone but one. Expect anywhere from 15-45 minutes of nail-biting, anxiety filled gaming. This is a turn based game based on a 20 card deck system. It not only relies heavily on strategy, but luck just as much. Eventually you mught start to see a pattern in your opponents moveset and even then that isn't enough. It resembles the show almost, on the edge of your seat wondering who will win. Will the blast connect? Will Goku dodge? Does Frieza have another trick or transformation up his sleeve? Is the Kienzen going to nullify the enemy long enough for you to shoot your Spirit Bomb off before he fires off his Death Ball? It really is an epic battle. The sprites and animation are wonderful for its time and the character cast is HUGE. You can unlock different characters through multiple playthroughs and use them in the story instead of the designated charcter you had first playthrough. Expect to lose often, not because you're bad but because of luck itself. Your strategy won't matter if you draw the card you need most when you have 10 health left and your enemy is going to finish you next turn. If you're looking for a challenge then pick this up. Especially if you're a DB fan. I'd almost complain it's TOO hard at times..but what would that say about me as a gamer? We all know Kakkarot would never give! Especially the Prince of all Saiyans, Vegeta!
