Exceeded my expectations
1 of 1 found this helpful All the kit lenses I've owned over the last 30 years have been, to some extent, underwhelming. This one, however, ticks all the boxes (if you don't mind the plastic lens mount).
It looks and feels robust, is lightweight, focuses quickly, the image stabilisation certainly works well at 1/8th second at 55mm and images (both high quality JPEG and unmodified raw) are impressively sharp without any noticeable colour cast.
In short: very good value for money.

The pins are very, very weak
1 of 1 found this helpful I used it to remove a couple of links from a Seiko SBDC033 'Sumo', but all four pins that came with this tool broke under minimal pressure when trying to remove other links from the same bracelet.
