An easy, fun read for foodies and cooks alike.
This is a simple, graphic, fascinating book if you are interested in Australian food history. It offered new information to me, it brought back lots of memories, and lots of laughs of recognition. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Even more interesting is Jan O’Connell’s other book "Me and My Big Mouth." tracking her own experiences of food fashions and cultural food changes in Australia from the late 1940s. It’s also easy to read, and a perfect book for any grandma or great grandma, who will be enchanted by the memories.

No longer made.
I had to hunt for deleted stick but am glad I did. This is very fine, strong, pure wool. Very lightweight. It was originally sold for making socks but I have made some baby socks and beanies from it. It is a pity Patons has stopped making Patonyle, especially for baby wear, there is nothing else like it.

An oldie but a goodie.
Anyone who is a fan of Debbie Bliss will like this old book. I was excited to find it second hand and was very happy with the purchase.
