Album Title Goes Here - DeadMau5
Can't get enough of DeadMau5 and this does it for me again. I enjoy other artists in this genre, but I seem to be on the same frequency with this one. It's an experience, not just something I hear and respond to. This CD introduced me to 3-D music in the track "fn Pig" and I don't mean surround sound. It was sound that somehow had height, depth and width. I also love the high energy level of DeadMau5 -- not hard rock pounding but a force that makes you feel you can blast off, leave earth and swing into orbit. This genre and especially this artist makes me remember the mantra of the age of Aquarius: Tune in, turn on, drop out. (Yes, I'm =that= old, but even little old ladies like me still want to have fun.)
CorLiving LAD-629-C Antonio Accent Chair in Dark Brown Bonded Leather
    03 Feb, 2017
    Accent / side chair
Assembly was relatively uncomplicated and not physically demanding. All the screws, nuts, bolts were there, along with an allen wrench, so no tools required; all screw holes were present and properly placed. The bonded leather is of good quality and appearance and looks like it will wear well. The chair is comfortable and well designed and a very good buy at the price I paid with free shipping.
Jupiter: A Novel (The Grand Tour) by Bova, Ben
    03 Mar, 2016
One of Ben Bova's best sci fi books
This is the type of 'hard' sci fi I like. Characterization is good, both interesting and believable. Not deep, but that suits my preference in sci fi. It's deep enough that the characters avoid being cartoons, soap opera or romance novel. Most of all it takes full advantage of the wonder of its topic: Jupiter and the idea of Jovian life, with nods to moons such as Europa. I would have liked more exploration in my special sci fi interest -- first contact with alien (completely alien, not humanoid, not of human origin even remotely, not even life as we know it) intelligence. Either the book should have continued further (for my taste), or dropped the religious sabotage subplot. Be that as it may, it was good as far as it went.
