Looks very much like a toy and will need serious cosmetic work to make it look otherwise, and to blend in to the baseboard scenery - this will probably invalidate the guarantee. The motor is very noisy. A warning should be put on the package to say that the flimsy metal handrails are sellotaped to the outside of the inner sleeve - I did not initially see these and they got bent out of shape. It also needs a lot of work to make it compatible with DCC. The one thing in its favour is that it sits on top of the baseboard and doesn't need a large hole cutting out for installation.
