Pilad 1x42 Weaver Red Dot
6 of 6 found this helpful I have only taken it to the range once so far, but the optic was everything I expected and it performed well.
It has 3 reticle options that are similar to the kobra sight.
It is bright enough for a sunny day, but needs to be turned down for dim environments, as the splash quickly becomes overwhelming, so I don't always leave it on the same setting.
It would be nice if the buttons were on the rear, facing the user, but with just 2 buttons, it is pretty easy to memorize.
Battery was slightly annoying to install, but they are easy to find.
It doesn't feel/seem too cheap, but only time will tell.
Overall, very satisfied so far.
