Did I need it.
Bought the relay as i was having starting problems and no glow light. But you have to go through the process to convince your self that this will help. The relay worked and I was happy with this.

Just adds the extra safe feeling.

Brush Roller
1 of 1 found this helpful We do not have pets but 4 girls make up for the missing pet hair, so after about 4 months the hoover started making funny noise from around the brush roller area when you engage to sweep the carpets, so i had a look thinking the belt was loose and i cleaned out all the hair, but this had no effect and the noise was very loud then it started to pull the carpet and rugs this is now about 10 months on. So I took it apart and found the 2 side caps that fit onto the bearings that support the brush roller had melted on further inspection the metal bearings had jammed and hair was trapped down the side of the bearing. I then tried buying a new brush roller £32 well that's another story so I rebuilt the side caps with large steel washers and now it works OK.
I would not buy this model.
