24 - The greatest series I have ever seen
39 of 55 found this helpful If you’re as far as season 4 you are probably an addict like myself. I made the terrible mistake of actually watching this season every Sunday @ 9pm. This is absolutely no way to watch 24. For seasons 1-3 we got the DVD's and watch each season within a few days. It is highly addictive so I must warn you ... ONLY watch this series if you have time to burn!
I honestly cannot recommend watching this show from week to week … just too much happens between each show that you lose the urgency of finding out what happens next. The only way to watch this is getting the DVD’s!
“24” chronicles a day of Jack Bauer, the greatest man alive. We only have 2 rules while watch 24 ...
Rule 1 - NO TALKING
Rule 2 - NEVER question Jack Bauer’s authority!
The whole series is amazing. Simply having a series dedicated to 1 day must have been a monumental task. I love how the show comes together and how you can love and hate the same character in the same hour! There are some truly unforgettable characters in the show as well. I just hope they can keep some of the original cast since everyone seems to be dieing or moving!
This is a MUST SEE! Start with Season 1 and be prepared to lose the next week or two of your life ... but I somehow manage to justify it as time well spent!

Could a single song take the Lords name in Vain any more times than Arms Dealer does? For being the best song on this Album it is complete rubbish and offensive. I switch radio stations anytime I hear this band playing.
If you are a Christian or have any sense you would not purchase this album let alone listen to the songs.

Battlefield Earth - A very good SciFi book!
7 of 11 found this helpful I am an avid reader of all books ... but once I read a book I will rarely read it again unless it was something truly memorable. This is one book that I will read over and over again and never tire of. (A quick side note here ... the movie is absolutely awful ... in the name of all things holy save yourself from ever having to watch it!).
There will definitely be debate about the book ... or more so about the author L Ron Hubbard found of the "Scientology" Religion. All debates aside I did find the book entertaining and a good read.
Did I mention the movie was awful?? Just thinking about it makes me feel dirty. Oh well ... how many good books out there have spawned terrible movies (Congo comes to mind). I hope you enjoy the book though!
