1 of 5 found this helpful The writer goes back and forth with the characters and it is difficult to figure out who she is talking about. We read it for book club and 9 of us were present for the discussion tonight. We had a great discussion trying to figure out what the book was about. We all thought it was a very sad book and frankly, not good. I would not even buy another book by this author. I was very disappointed. It was so difficult to follow that 4-5 of us wondered if we had a concentration problem.
