Not quite what it says on the tin
The instruction manual isn't entirely clear about the sequence of operation but it did seem like the one I had was faulty. The laser did not cut off after 4seconds; neither did the distance measurement appear until I pressed the button for a third time. Epictools were very helpful in suggesting it might be a battery problem, and when it turned out not to be they offered to replace it. As I write, the replacement is on its way and the original has been returned to Bosch.

Kicks spotlights into touch
I bought the 4ft LED striplight on the advice of my electrician to replace four ageing spotlights in the kitchen. It's neat, easy to install and very bright. No doubt it will be a doddle to clean, too. I now intend to fit these into my new workshop.
