Range Rover L322 Speedo Instrument Cluster LCD Pixel Repair Non Bond Ribbon

Not an easy fix

This isn't for the some one with little or no experience. I'm reasonably capable with spanners and screw drivers and after stripping the speedo to the point of where the instructions said to drill to get access to the screws to remove the LCD panel I immediately saw problems. In AKSpeedo's own instructions it shows the speedo needles and speedo faces removed but tell you not to do this for the risk of damaging the speedo motors. So in my opinion the instructions aren't an actuate discription of the method needed to carry out the repair. Having drilled one hole using the template supplied it doesn't come without risking further damage. One of the holes it tells you drill is so close to and LED and on a thin strip of plastic separating the 3 LEDs I doubt it would be possible.

Cheaper than main dealer diaognostics

A great little unit, easy to use, clear display and with main dealers charging £160 for diaognostics (in my area) will pay for itself the 1st time you use it. A must for anyone you owns and maintains a Range Rover or Jaguar
