Good Product, Great value for the price, great battery life
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought the reader, because I wanted to try an ebook reader.
to start is a good device that fulfills its mission. works great for people who do not want to customize so thoroughly how to read, but want a device to read already.
The interface is simple, but is lacking in options. although it is a device in 2009, does its job well. has 3 zoom size , brings some fonts but not over there.
Its size is comfortable enough to hold with one hand and support the epub, pdf, txt, and doc(the reader software convert into rtf)
It's not possible to read in the night, unless you have a cover that has some light.
one drawback is that it's not possible to update the firmware, such as Kobo or Nook. although there is a very interesting option PRS +, an open source firmware that enhances the capabilities of the device, giving a dictionary, a translator and even games ( I tried in the mine, and I feel is more responsive in menus and opening ebooks).
It is 100% compatible with Calibre, so you'll have no problems with e-books, You can too sideload ebook,
It is a good e-reader, although this time, there are better options within Sony as the PRS-T1-T2 or PRS, and others like the Nook Touch and the Kobo Touch that give more capabilities and allow us to make many other things.
if you want a good e-reader, and not very interested in the options you may offer and just want to read books, this may be your e-reader
