Heat protection for Wood burner
I have put this board behind my wood burner for added protection against a painted, rendered wall.
It has been undercoated and painted with normal mate paint, the same colour as the wall and is an excellent product, The first time the fire was lit the paint did send off an odour, so light a scented candle to negate the smell, the second time the fire is alight, the odour is not there, even so we always light a candle when the fire is alight to negate any smell from smoke that may escape when putting more logs on the fire.
When the fire is at its maximum heat the wall behind the board is still cool.
I would definitely recommend this product, it was also delivered in a box and edges of board well protected to avoid any damage.

Simply the best
Pay a little more and you get the best, have used sikkens many times, it never fails. I would always recommend this product.
