Give a 2nd life to an old PC
1 of 1 found this helpful This is actually the second HDD with which I am replacing the original 70GB disk that came with my Dell XPS M1210 laptop in use since 2006. Having all the electronics and screen working, well the original disk was replaced some years ago with a 500GB SATA 7200 rpm HDD which gave its life a year ago. I replaced the XPS with a new Dell however this one started failing some months ago so I decided to put the old XPS back into service while the new one is being repaired or replaced from the factory. Installing the SSD HDD is very easy, just unscrew the HDD cradle from the PC, remove the old unit and put the new one in place. Install the cradle back into the HDD bay and adjust the screws again. Everything fits perfectly. Then reinstall your operating system back from the original disks and ready. Replacing the unit took no more than 5 minutes, reinstalling Windows around 20 minutes and then restore the software backups. It feels faster, no noise at all and the startup is way faster than that of the new laptop which runs on Windows as well.

Original brand - The only option for old-style garage doors
1 of 1 found this helpful If you need a remote for your old Stanley garaje door which has dip-switches rather than the newer frequency scanning universal remote controls found at harware stores, this is the only option available. It is easy to setup, basically replicate the same switch combination on the door motor unit and the remote and it is ready to use. It has great range and uses the standard 9V block battery.

One of the best 1:400 scale 747 models
Very accurate, well molded and detailed. Colors, markings and minute details like antennae and aerials are properly applied. The only defect is the main gear: center bogies don't sit level on a flat surface and the four bogies slant forward and aft (they should only fall rear-downwards).
