Great book with disappointing ending - still worth reading.
I bought this book because the New Yorker gave it a great review -- and I like Michael Frayn. It's a beautifully written book, easy to get into, and perfect for a holiday. The challenge is that Frayn builds a train wreck of characters that is coming toward the reader, but he doesn't really know how to end it. So it's a real pleasure, can't put it down-sort of book -- and then wanders off. Still worth the read, though. The pleasure is much greater than the disappointment.

I can't tell if it does anything . . .
It's very hard to tell if this spray actually helps. The shoes wore in, and it was recommended, but was it time? Or the spray?
