Amazing book

One of the best books I've ever read. Far more than just a story about cannabis and its link to Soma, the story he reveals spans over 8000 years and links the proto indo-european use of cannabis with sacred ceremones all over eurasia including its use in the bible, in China, Tibet and Mesapotamia. Whatever your feelings about cannabis, this is an important piece of research and goes some way to explaining why cannabis is so popular despite its demonisation. It also gives some profound insights into our human ancestry. He deserves a phd - I couldn't put it down.
