Good qhality

These soldering iron tips include the thermocouple for temperature regulation. Not until I bought an angled tip did I realise that the original tip was reporting too high a temperature. (I had to turn it up high in normal use). That prompted me to buy this one as a not quite direct replacement. They appear well made and both the ones I have recently purchased are working correctly. However, I now realise that the original one has been faulty (inaccurate) from day one so failures can occur. They are also relatively expensive. Delivery was prompt and efficient.

Better than expected

I was actually looking for a 2 way and centre off switch. When I received these, I found that they were true three position switches. In this review, they are correctly described as 2P3T or DP3T 8 pin. I'm fairly sure that wasn't how they were described on the listing. They do leave the front slot open at one end or the the other when switched from the centre position. Cheap and reasonable quality.

This version provides both forward and reverse control. For some reason, some (mine included) have a capacitor sticking out of the board under the leads.
