rigid but heavy - not for a Samsung sound bar but adaptable
I bought this for a samsung sound bar. The samsung has mounting holes 24" on center. This one is for a sound bar with 18" maximum mounting holes.
To mount the Samsung you have to use a piece of 1-1/2"x1/8" iron cut to length, drill 4 holes and paint.
The only problem is would be way too heavy, in my estimate, for most wood frame homes on a PLA-60 mount without some thorough consideration. I used lag bolts to mount the PLA-60 but I always have the option of drilling thru-bolts for additional support from the other side of the wall.
The moment arm created by the PLA-60 with a heavy television, a heavy sound bar is at the maximum for the lag bolts but I tend to over engineer things; better safe than sorry.
