A Must Have Record
For those interested in British progressive rock especially those bands who subsequently have become defined by the term ‘ Canterbury Sound / Canterbury Scene this CD / LP is a must. QS came and went without a fuss put together by Phil Manzanera ( best known for his work with Roxy Music ) a first rate band that included Bill MacCormick from Matching Mole and Brian Eno. All compositions are lead by the distorted guitar of Manzanera but he never dominates; so not a guitar album but a beautiful crafting of bass , piano and electric keyboards.
The last track contains the only vocal on this record, Charles Hayward the drummer sounding like a bit of Syd Barrett, Peter Gabriel and Robert Whyatt. So all good ! The audio production crackles with energy with a crisp , consise, clean sonic sound thanks to PM and Brian Eno . A must have record

Well worth trying if you wish to artificially age timber ie to blend in with old. Easy to use just add a couple of teaspoons to hot water in a jar and
