If you're looking for creative inspiration, look no further!
This well written and informative book offers a unique insight into the world of Miss Aniela and other Fine Art and Self Portrait photographers from around the world. It covers in good detail, the thought processes and techniques used to create some of the wonderful images found within.
The book is both inspirational and encouraging towards the reader and shows what can be accomplished with practice, experimentation, dedication and creativity. The only limits are those you place upon yourself.
Natalie takes you on her personal journey with her photography and self expression and is very open, humble and honest about obstacles she faced, both technically and artistically. Even if you are not in to self portraiture, the book traverses into portraiture, fine art and fashion photography and certainly gets the creative juices and imagination flowing.
Emphasis is placed upon the photographer's abilities and artistic vision, as opposed to requiring the latest and greatest camera equipment. Developing the former is vastly more important than the latter. As you will come to learn, even the most basic entry level DSLR is capable of delivering fantastic image quality. However, a camera is just a tool. It is the wielder who takes - or more appropriately MAKES - a photograph, not the camera.
Natalie is more than a photographer. She is a digital artist, melding camera craft with digital creativity. Her experiences with post production software like Photoshop are well documented and reveal how she uses it to combine a series of images to create the final masterpiece. If you have seen her work on Flikr, you have probably been left wondering "How on Earth did she do that?". Well, this book will enlighten you.
This and her new book "Creative Portraiture" are well worth buying and reading. Both books have certainly made me think about my photography in different ways and in greater detail and makes me want to raise the bar continually. I highly recommend them both!

Camouflage netting.
I was looking for some thin camouflage netting for use in a bird photography hide (in this case, my garden shed). I have a window that lifts up to enable me to shoot through, which required some concealment.
What I particularly like about this netting is that it screens well at oblique angles, whilst remaining pretty transparent looking straight through it.
This means when birds approach from the sides or above, they will not see you, but you will see them when landing on a perch in front of you.
At 5 x 8ft there is enough for me to double up the netting to really hide myself in the shed window well. By cutting a hole in the camouflage netting for my lens hood to stick through, I have unobstructed shots and the birds are virtually oblivious to my presence, save for the sound of my camera shutter.
For my application, this netting is great, but if you're wanting to disguise or hide something without the need to see through it, I'd suggest something a bit heavier.

Good Quality. Great Price.
I purchased 4 of these ties for our wedding party earlier this year. They were a lovely colour and decent quality for the money. I've bought cheaper ties in the past, which would always come un-stitched but its well worth spending a few more pounds on a well crafted tie like this.
