Highly recommended, especially for poetry and Donald Hall fans.
Fantastic book from one of the country's greatest poets, looking back, at, and forward of years and people in a life filled with poets, poems, places and people from the perspective of a ninety-year-old.

It simply make me smile...each time I read it. I hope everyone gets to read this little book.
My favorite book to give to people as a gift. I recommend readers read it out loud, like they would to a young child. Reminds me of a Bullwinkle and Rocky fairy tale with its underlying layer. Delightful stream of conscience writing style. Everyone I gave this book to, including myself, thanked me for doing so. About a chapter in length of what a "big book" would be, so it's good to read to someone in a hospital bed, or at a cabin, or picnic.
I find myself turning to it multiple times as it simply makes me smile.
