Nice quality blades. Straight fit in hitachi planer. My site planer does tend to get a bit banged up. The knotty rubbish they give us for doorlinings, which is soft as cheese, but the knots are like iron. Planing tanalised timber is hard on the tool. Flushing noggins, and you hit a nail end. All of this takes its toll on the blades. Very good value compared with buying twin packs. Cheaper than getting them re-sharpened.

Misleading

Nice old style bradawl. Nice handle. Feels good quality. Mine had a damaged point on arrival which needed reshaping. Easy enough, but it shouldn't have happened. I thought I was buying two at the price because the description was misleading, but it was just one, which at 9 quid is quite pricy. It is a decent tool though, and a lot better than others of this style
