Not up to the task
This looks way smaller than I thought. I could perhaps read the description better next time. But It would be nice to provide some pictures for reference of a ruler or something else like that.
Also this tripod is very weak. I was trying to attach a laser level to this but it couldn't hold it. The laser level is not more heavy than a camera. I have never tried a phone but I doubt it could hold the weight of iPhone. I have since manage to break this stand. It broke when I was disconnecting it.
Having said that the price isn't much and you get what you pay for it.

Great product
I am very happy with this so far for the price I have paid. I am not so sure about the Plastic body of the digital display housing though. It should be fine but if I drop it like I did with my previous one and it stopped working.
There is also always .01-.03 mm difference I have to put it into zero over and over every time I do a measurement.
