Awesome book!
I knew what I was getting when I borrowed it at my local library. I haven’t even made it thru the first two chapters but I’m already in love. This book reads like a...book, not necessarily a traditional cookbook which is often just a bunch of recipes. This book differs because the author talks about the importance of weighing ingredients and how to work efficiently and even how to stock your equipment and pantry supplies. I’m so excited to curl up with it and dive in. At 450 pages, it’s large and heavy. The pages are at least 24lb glossy and it’s actually 8.5x11. My only one negative comment is that my favorite cookbooks have a picture of every recipe and this one does not. Maybe every 5 pages has a photograph. But when a photograph is included, it often takes up an entire page.
