Slightly Better Bloodrayne sequel & stillbad Boll film
This film is a supposed sequel to Bloodrayne, Uwe Boll's film based on the videogame in which the main character, halfhuman & half vampire was played by Kristanna Loken in the first film. This time Bloodrayne is played by Natashia Malthe of Dead Or Alive and the film takes place in the Wild West. Yes, it's another vampire western and Boll stealf from all thother westerns made by Leone, Peckinpaw, Ford and Hawks to no avail. Ms. Malthe is game in the role and slightly better than Loken( who decided to do the Painkiller Jane TV series than this Bloodrayde sequel and was the better in doing so) Michael Pare of Streets of Fire & The Philadelphia Experiment plays Pat Garett in this film who must assist Bloodrayne from stoping a vampiric Billy The Kid( I kid you not!) These are the only 2 name actors in this cast, contrary to other Uwe Boll epics but they do the best they possibly can in their roles, considering the lame script and always bad direction by Boll. The best thing in this DVD is not the movie but the extra computer disc which has the first Bloodrayne videogame on it and the digital Bloodrayne comic thats on the first DVD. If you're interested in really bad film adaptions of videogames, then Uwe Boll is the man for you since he's the Ed Wood Jr. of his generation. The DVD also has the trailer for Uwe Boll's next videogame film POSTAL that must be seen to be believed for how awful it is.

Great Cheesy William Castle Shocker Classic on DVD
William Castle was the last great filmic showman of the 1950's & 60's with classics like THE TINGLER, HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL, 12 GHOSTS and HOMICIDAL. I SAW WHAT YOU DID is one of the last good William Castle shockers of the 1960's before he became a respectable producer after producing ROSEMARY'S BABY(1968). It maybe cheesy in it's script and acting especially the two teenage leads but at least it's great fun, especially John Ireland as the killer and movie diva Joan Crawford in a supporting role as the killer's mistress. There are two shocker murder scenes done in the typical Castle manner, especially the shower murder scene which emulates Hitchcok's PSYCHO, except that the one taking the shower is the killer this time!
