20KG Bike Bicycle Cycle Pulley Lift Space Saving Garage Basement Ceiling Storage

    Simple to install and use
Very easy to install, took me about 40 minutes but would have been quicker if the installation location had been easier to access. The printed instructions are ok but could have been a little clearer to read so I could determine how to thread the rope, but that said, it was easy to work out. Having used it now a few times I find that (when the hooks are not loaded) the rope is prone to passing all the way to the end and unthreading itself from the untied end, meaning you have to rethread it back into the mechanism. I solved this with a simple knot at the end of the rope to prevent it from passing through the locking mechanism. This same issue makes loading the bikes onto the hooks a little difficult in that the weight of the hooks and rollers pulls the hooks to the floor before getting the chance to pull the bike to the rafters. My bike weighs about 20 KG packed and is lifted easily using this pully. All in all this is a great product for less than £10...thanks.
