Warning: this intake hose deforms under intake load
3 of 3 found this helpful Warning, this intake hose deforms under load altering the aperture, restricting airflow. To solve the issue ive had to use two jubilee clips to reinforce the centre section. It's fine now, but without this modification it will negatively affect your performance.
However, that said the part looks good in red and works well with the S5's red HT leads.
The part doesn't make a significant impact on supercharger sound, (I wanted more sound so was disappointed, but if you want it quiet this is ideal). I found that a performance airfilter (ITG) made more difference.
Overall, it's disappointing a brand like forge would put out a poor quality performance part, but once modified it functions and looks great.
