Brilliant little telephoto zoom.
2 of 2 found this helpful There are a few options for mid range telephoto zooms from Fuji but this lens is exceptional. I have owned and used lots of Canon "L" glass including the 70-200 2.3 and the 70-200 f4 and the 300 f4 and 400 f5.6. This Fuji lens is better than all of them, its as sharp, has exceptional colour saturation and micro contrast, the image stabilization is better and its half the price. Build quality is very solid and the lens feels like it will last forever. The only slight negative is that the zoom mechanism is much stiffer than most other lenses i've used but it works and it does not slip. People are obsessed with buying new camera bodies mostly they dont improve your images much, but a lens like this will give you a big step up in image quality.
