They have the unique B&O sound
2 of 3 found this helpful Was really lucky to find a pair of original Mark 1 BeoLab 8000 pre bass enhanced speakers from Lifestyle AV (who I highly recommend, dealt with them a number of times and their customer service is spot on and go above and beyond) In my opinion the original 8000's sound better than the Mark 2, 8002's or even the new 18's and at their current price are a bargain. I'm currently using them with a BeoVision 11, BeoLab 15's and 19 and as I'm writing this I've switched off all my other speakers and listening solely to them which I so often do. And don't worry when you hear pre bass enhanced they still have more than enough bass to them.
