It Depends
0 of 1 found this helpful There are 2 paths to qualifying this review. 1) you need a space saving device to get in your cardio or 2) you are looking for a gym quality piece of equipment.
My needs were option 1. I have a tight space in a guest bedroom that serves as an office, cardio, and guest bedroom. Fits well in in a 10' x 10' space. The mobility to fold it up and pull out the Murphy bed works like a charm.
Option 2, gum quality equipment. If I had to base it on this alone the rating would be less. Let me qualify my statement. I'm 6' 210lbs and athletic. The belt catches on every foot fall whether I am walking or running. This means rather than a 3.5 setting to walk I'm at a 6.5 level. This helps belt movement upon foot impact to keep a consistent rate of belt movement. It is difficult to jog or run because my stride elongates, naturally, at higher speeds so I tend to hit the panels on the back end from time to time.
Durability, this thing takes a beating and keeps on going. It doesn't shake or wobble. This a huge plus for an indoor piece of equipment.
The digital panel is simple and straight forward. If you are looking for something that has many built in packages to provide you with courses of hills etc this may not be the best option. It does have some, so dont misunderstand my remark. It's just not meant to be a sophisticated tool. Which is a reason to like it or dislike it depending on what you need.
For me, it is an escape from the climates and avoiding any travel to the gym. Affordable, durable, stable, and convenient.
