Straightforward and just works

With an IOM6 this is a great shelf to use any type of SAS or SATA drive. If you're using an IOM6, you can ditch any interposers in the disk trays -- they're simply not needed. Otherwise it spins up great, low power usage, and does exactly what it needs to do.
