Convenient
I love to scrapbook, and I figured this would be a convenient option for a few pictures I may need here and there without having to use my main printer. It has been decent as far as color and prints go. It takes awhile for each picture to print, but it is pretty convenient to have on hand.

The Book Does Justice to its Subject
In reality, I had to get this book for my History of American law class. After reading it, I thought Gunther did a great job at explaining the turbulent atmosphere of the gold rush and the subsequent treatment of the Indians as mere pieces of the land that could removed solely based on their lack of education of their rights. It was truly a dark point in American history and California history in general, and Gunther does a good job at illuminating the lasting effects on the Indians from this treatment. At times, the cases provided get slightly confusing because many of the Indians have the same names or similar names, so it becomes slightly hard to keep mentally organized, but overall, she does justice to the theme of Indian rights in California in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
