Good 3DS compatible system for people on a budget.
5 of 5 found this helpful The good:
Plays all 3DS and new 3DS games, clearer top screen due to the lack of the 3D masking layer
Good battery life, I've yet to run out despite playing it quite a bit.
Easily moddable for running emulators, I've had GB, GBC, GBA, SMS, GG, MD and PCE all running at full speed with no dropped frames on it, SNES runs most things full speed though your mileage will vary. There's even a port of the Frodo C64 emulator for it that will run with a keyboard on the lower screen so you can write programs or do complex calculations on the device itself!
The either way:
The controls use tactile buttons rather than the usual rubber mat and interlocking PCB contacts, this means they have less travel and have a clicky feeling, personally I actually prefer it that way but I can see how those used to other DS type handhelds might find it a little strange.
The bad:
Speakers are in the worst place possible and are covered by hands during use, also they aren't that loud to start with. Cameras are also in a less than optimal place as they've stuck everything on one PCB to reduce the cost but the cameras are of little use anyway so that's not a problem for me.
The conclusion:
Overall I'm very happy with it, it's quite a bit cheaper than the New 3DS XL and I suspect the tactile buttons used for the controls will last a lot longer than the usual carbon impregnated rubber mats used by the other systems.

Buy cheap, buy twice.
Absolutely awful.
Even stripping fairly lightweight thin wires it's hopeless, doesn't strip half the time or takes some of the copper with it.
The parts appear not to be aligned properly and the whole tool is loose and rattly.
Can't really say too much given the price but I think this is a tool it's worth spending a bit more for a better variant with actual build quality -.-
